We have reset the activation key. Please follow the instructions below:
    1. Quit Parallels Desktop, then try to activate after launching it again.
    2. If you are still unable to activate, Open Terminal on the Mac and execute this command: prlsrvctl activate-license-online

Note: Parallels Desktop 10 is not compatible with Sierra or newer macOS X versions.

    Hi Parallels support,
I have the same problem here but with the version 15 business.

Please let me if I need to provide some more information.
    Thank you in advance,

Hey, I've got the same problem: prlsrvctl deactivate-license is not working and I want to move my License to a new Mac.

  8. Hi ManuelW1. We have made the necessary changes. Execute the terminal command once again and try with the activation.

I am back in the same position. the machine I was working on remotely died and I am unable to deactivate the license on that machine. Can you help me so that I can activate the license on a different machine?

This is not working. I am unable to activate via terminal. The error says "Failed to activate the license: Operation timeout. The operation could not be complete due to timeout." Also, when trying to deactivate it says "Your type of license cannot be deactivated"
