I'm not having any luck with the networking. It just does not grab an IP and gives me error messages about duplicate ips. Already tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Assigning XP an IP and DNS etc manually solves the problem.

    DHCP works 4 me ...

I just downloaded & installed Parallels Desktop RC .... DHCP works fine for me both in Fedora Core 5 and in XP/SP2.

I installed the Parallels Tools as per usual procedure after updating.

I noticed I had two realtek adapters in xp. I deleted them, removed parallel tools and rebooted. I then reinstalled the tools and rebooted again. DHCP is working although I am still getting messages about duplicate ips.

I have the same exact issue. I'm getting errors about duplicate IPs. I'm bridging over Airport on my MBP.

If the next release won't be for 2 weeks hopefully we can get a quick fix for this issue to tie us over.
