I am tying to install a program that needs 40 GB of hard drive space under Windows 10. I have allocated (increased from 75 GB) 150 GB of hard drive space for my virtual machine. When I boot into Windows, it shows that I have 9.89 GB free of 62.8 GB. I know that the drive is dynamic and should increase to the 150GB, as needed. When I run the windows installer for the program, I get an error message that there is not enough disk space. I am at a loss on how to tell Windows that it has 150GB that it can use instead of the 62.8 GB, so that I can install the program.
I contacted Parallels support and was provided with the guidelines to fix this problem. They are here: https://kb.parallels.com/123372
