Hello DonR2, The Windows virtual machine will be the same, changing the license and Parallels Desktop version will not affect the virtual machine files and programs.

Hello, unfortunately we haven't an option to upgrade from subscription to permanent license. You need to purchase permanent Parallels Desktop license. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
