I have a printer connected to my MacBook Pro via USB and print to it from both OS X and WinXP. Is there a way to configure it so that I don't have to constantly select/deselect the device from Parallels?

When selected in Parallels Devices menu, I can of course print to it from WinXP; but if I need to print from OS X, I'm deselecting it in the Devices menu.

There has to be a better way...

    Hello,

could you please in Mac OS go to System Preferences->Sharing and make sure that Printer sharing is enabled?

    Best regards,
    Stacey

I have verified that printer sharing is enabled in Mac OS.

I have a similar issue. I'm using Parallels 5160 on a Macbook Pro with an HP4350 laserjet and although the printer works perfectly in OSX, it will not print in WinXP. I've verified that printer sharing is enabled in OSX and select it in the Devices, USB option in Parallels, but it will not print. This is connected via a USB port on the Macbook Pro.
