Display issues

    Hello,
    I have some display issues with my macOS Catalina virtual machine.
    Exemple :
    Microsoft Team : white screen
    Safari : reverse tab color
    Maps : black screen
    VLC : flashing screen
    I tried to increase CPU, RAM, Graphics but still have the problem. Can someone help me ?

    Yes, I also tried without tools and Mojave, same problem.

    Funnily, I'm seeing this same issue, with Windows VM's, since the latest May 2020 Windows update.
    You get the pull out for the start menu, solid black. Open a finder window it is solid white, except for the bit where the menus should be that is blue.
    As shown here when you go 'over' some bits the correct pull out appears. Maps give the same black screen described. I've found that it seems a lot 'better' (I won't say 'right', but it is very near to this), if I reduce significantly the size of the VM window.
    I looks as if something deep in the VM's graphic handling is going wrong with certain drawing operations when the screen size is fairly large, and that Catalina, Mojave, and now Windows 10, can all trigger this behaviour.
    You don't say what your core machine actually 'is', for me, it is worse on a new iMac Pro, than it is on an older iMac (though both will do it).

    After a bit of fiddling around with Parallels support, have set the VM to 'scaled', and reduced the UI resolution in the Mac OS.
    This makes it then work.
    It looks as if the virtual screen driver 'hiccups' if trying to handle more than perhaps 10MB/screen (so perhaps 3 to 4M pixels).
    A fault with it, but reduce the working resolution and it at least becomes useable.
    Maybe you'd like to test and see if a similar reduction helps for your problem?.

    I have the same issue under Mojave guest and Big Sur host. Does anybody have the solution? I would be so thankful.

    I also noted that when using 10.6.8 Server as a Guest OS in 10.14 with the latest 16.1 Parallels AFTER the parallels tools update (even reinstalling) the Display Resolution can only be 1024x768. And not workaround. Also Coherence is broken.

    Yes, I think it is the actual virtual screen 'driver', the core Mac part of which is used by all types of VM, that has the problem.... :(

    Same issue for me, but running 10.15.7 host. Tried everything I could think of but nothing changed.
