Parallels now has associated file types on my mac with windows apps. I do not want that. I don't want to open xml files with IE7. I don't want my OS X to know about visual studio.

Is there anyway to disable this?

Ok, apparently this is smart select. I haven't played enough with the features in parallels 3.0.

I disable this by editing the VM preferences in Edit, but parallels tools still shows this as enabled.

Angry... i don't want windows apps known about in OS X. Really.

    EDIT: resolved: http://forums.parallels.com/showthread.php?p=87593#post87593
