My subscription of Parallels Desktop for Mac Pro Edition was expired earlier this month, I have tried to update my payment option to alipay or credit card, but can not complete the payment process. I have waited for more than 12 hours but did not get any updates.

Hi, It's 2023 and I have the exact same issue. I am running Mac OS 12.6.2 (Monterrey). I did not have this problem renewing in prior years, and the renewal was instant once you paid the renewal cost on-line. Now it's unclear what happened after I clicked on the Renew button. There was no indication of any problem with renew & I didn't receive any emails. I got a screen that says: "Your request to renew a subscription will be processed shortly, provided you've entered a valid payment method. A request is usually processed within 1 hour but may take longer in some cases. If you chose PayPal or wire transfer, make sure to complete the transaction. Your subscription will be updated automatically as soon as we receive a notification from our payment provider." I tried several times but kept landing on same page when attempting to contact support about my problem.... its looks like contacting support takes an act of God & Parallels has made sure there is no way to write a ticket! How exactly can I get to a page to write a ticket? I've tried a million ways & can not, no way, no how get to a page where I have an option to write a ticket. This is ridiculous! I don't see any indication any payment processing occurred for my renewal. This new (evidently old?) renewal processing, screen navigation and messages don't make any sense! Totally unfriendly! HOW CAN I RENEW MY SUBSCRIPTION?? Thanks, S
@kevinc30 YES you, myself & probably MANY others want to pay but can't! I've never heard of a company where you attempt to renew a subscription & there's no way to contact support when it fails.. Have you? Even the IRS makes 100% sure there's an avenue for them to receive payment! Therefore, WHAT is going on at Parallels? CLEARLY they are aware of the issues because I have the same issue as OP posted THREE years ago in 2020. I can only speculate that this is some kind of stall tactic that is intentionally being rendered or being kept in place when something is seriously broken. WHY is Parallels support pages directing users to social media (twitter, Facebook?!) for answers?! WTH? This is crazy. They can't be serious! So Parallels thinks social media will have magical answers to get around the obviously intentional blocking of renewal subscription? What answer has anyone found ANY WHERE for this problem? Yesterday, I found an old email response that I received from Parallels support & I wrote an email to them. Guess what? I got an auto responder that directed me to the same stupid useless support pages, which after you drill down trying to find an answer or contact support page it finally tells you to go find answers on social media or forums! IN-SANE. As a professional software engineer with 40 yrs & counting of experience, this is totally unacceptable non-sense! For a renewal function you would never have ambiguous dead end navigation with no acknowledgement/no escape/no buttons/no response/no answers! And to add insult to injury no follow-up whatsoever, even though a bogus screen tells you to wait while they process payment. For years it was instant renewal after payment, but now it's wait until we get back to you. (but clearly they don't)? What are we? STUPID? As a software engineer I can ASSURE you that Parallels KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT THE ISSUE IS! I was happy with the Parallels software for years, but now I have no choice but to seek other alternatives. If this is what happens when I attempt to renew my subscription, I can only imagine if I have an issue that I can't resolve??? Parallels want me to ask social media morons??? Finding this out now is a blessing in disguise because I know I'd be livid if I installed a new version of Parallels, had issues, and then found out there's no way to get support. @PARELLELS GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER BEFORE YOU LOSE ALL CREDIBILITY ALONG WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS!
