I have Win 10 as a virtual machine on my Mac. If i click Suspend, what is the RAM usage? I'm asking because I want to know my options of opening and closing Windows. If I shut down Windows, it takes longer to load up than if I just use Suspend. Any ideas?
Hello, when suspending, it works just like a physical Windows machine: it saves the current state of the operating system for later use. Unlike a physical machine, however, it uses no extra battery power, RAM, or CPU cycles to do so; Parallels unloads it from RAM and stores it purely on the hard disk.
