Video Download from Youtube on iMac / latest Big Sur (not even on Safari) is not working. Tried re-install and tweaking the app. The forum section does not include this particular problem. The support is not available cause not using any of supported help channels. I see it as a stand to restrict support seekers.
Agreed. The record window portion records the video but does not capture the audio. There is absolutely no functioning support channel available. I would never give this company another penny of my money.
I also have this problem. For both the audio and video download tool when using YouTube. I am also using Big Sur. Is this because of a change to YouTube's API to stop us? Or is this a toolbox issue?
Hello, we've just released version 4.5 that contains improved support of audio/video downloading. You can install update manually (open Toolbox -> cogwheel -> Check for Updates) and then try video downloading again.
Just installed the Toolbox Update still have the same issue when trying to download a YouTube Video. This error states Failed to Get Audio - This service may not be supported. Try to provide a direct link to the audio: - Right-click the audio and select "Get URL", or - Drag the audio thumbnail to the app
It is strange because audio/video is downloaded successfully using your link. Could you please: - Enable detailed log in Toolbox Preferences (open Toolbox -> cogwheel -> Preferences); - Replicate the issue; - Generate technical report and post its ID here (https://kb.parallels.com/en/124107);
technical data report with ID 366320761 has been sent to Parallels to help us improve the product. Thank you for your feedback!

Thank you for your feedback! Any insight as to what id up? It's worked in the past just went to use it this weekend and I now get this message. If someone from Parallels wants to set up a Zoom session to watch me do this live, please contact me.
I'm having the same problem with El Capitan and a earlier version of Toolbox (latest version won't work on 10.11.6). The same 'fix' was suggested, but doesn't work. I get the same error message as above. Is this Youtube blocking Toolbox?
Just to follow up on this software and it's use. My install started working again late last week but now the quality of the downloaded video is no where as good as the video presented on YouTube Or in comparison to previous downloads. I understand that YouTube does not want this to happen without doing it through their ecosystem so it's like playing wack a mole to keep it working correctly. I think it time to move on and use something else. When my subscription ends in October for me I'm done. Regards, Dennis
