I installed the Windows 10 for ARM Insider edition under a VM on my M1 mac. Then I updated it to Windows 11. That worked just fine.

The question now, is that Windows 11 says it's not activated. Well, that makes sense. And I'd happily buy a license. And if I click on the activation page to do so, it takes me to a page offering to sell me a Windows 10 Pro license for $199.

Now, before I attempt to buy that, my question is... is that a path forward for a legitimate license for ARM Windows? My gut tells me it's not, and that my $199 would be wasted because the license would be for x86 Windows, which doesn't do me any good.

I'm not a scofflaw (well, at least in this context). I'm willing to pay for what I need and use.
