Steps to reproduce -- very reliable:

    Start VM
    Suspend VM
    Click "sound" (underlined)
get dropdown sheet with message about can't edit suspended VM
Say No (don't want to edit)
    Spinning beachball of death

    Force quit Parallels.
    Restart Parallels
Select original VM from choices, get warning it's already in use

Repeat as often as desired -- it's reliable. One core hovers around 100%

Yes -- I had this experience too.

New bug I think in RC1 as I was able to do this with the earlier betas. But of course, suspend and resume itself (with sound enabled) was severely broken in those betas as the VM would often hang.

So for now, I will just remember that you can't edit a VM config when the VM is suspended.

Thank for reporting - we are able to reproduce this. Fix will be avalable in next public build. For now don't click on devices links when VM is suspended - use Edit button instead.
