I have the latest Parallels Desktop software in combination with the macOS Big Sur on my MacBook Pro 15"Retina. When switching to Ubuntu 20.04, some of the screenwidth is unused with a resolution 4:3 1024x768. Is there a way to use a wider screen under Ubuntu? thanks in advance, Peter
You need to install the Parallels Tools into your VM, so the VM would integrate with the host system (through the so-called ToolGate interface). This will install the graphics driver and you VM will start to respond to the change of the resolution or the window resizing.
