I have files on an existing HFS+ formatted USB3 Passport drive.
I can Connect the guest (Windows 10) to that drive but it doesn't recognise it, presumably because Windows doesn't recognise HFS+
What is the best way to solve this?

Solved ! (thanks to a hunch and a search engine)
    1. Do not connect the external drive to the guest (Windows) VM -- instead connect it to the host (macOS)
    2. In macOS Preferences, Enable permission for the Parallels Desktop to access plug-in drives
      • In Mac System Preferences]...
      • [ Security & Privacy > Privacy > Parallels Desktop.app > Files and Folders > Removable Volumes]:
        • ( Default: [No], change to: [Yes] )
