    Hello everyone.

I'm thinking to buy a Macbook Pro M1 but I have some doubts related to Parallels software on this architecture. I use different kinds of operating systems such as Windows 7, Windows XP, and some Linux distributions.

So the question is, ¿if I have these operating systems in .ova extension (virtualized service) can I used these on the M1 Macbook with Parallels, or is necessary that the operating system is based on ARM architecture?

Hi, Parallels Desktop for Mac with M1 chips supports only ARM-based operating systems. To know the supported Guest Operating Systems (Mac with Apple M1 chip), check at ( https://kb.parallels.com/124223#:~:...s (Mac with Apple M1 chip),-Only ARM versions ). Thanks.
