Hey everyone, I'm gonna get a MacBook air soon for college. I'll need to run a couple of apps (such as Power BI) only available on windows. I'm planning to use Parallels to load up koows windows. My question is, is 8gb unified memory enough for me to run Windows smoothly on it? Or should I go with the beefier 16gb ram model? Has anyone tried Parallels on the 8gb model here?
    Thanks!

Currently there is a pre-release version of Windows for ARM, but Microsoft has announced that they don't plan to support Windows on the M1 chip. So if you count on using Windows software a M1 based Mac is probably not a good idea.
