Hi there, I have one particular application that will not open in WinXP (SP2) on my Tiger (10.4.10) system using Parallels 5160. I've narrowed it down and determined that IncrediMail (latest Build 5673132) will not open at all in Coherence. It partially opens and then does nothing. The menus don't appear within the area on IncrediMail. It will open and seems to run fine in Single Window Mode. It also seems to be OK in Full Screen. So, any ideas on how to get it to run in Coherence (my preferred option)? I have 2 GB RAM here, with about 1 GB assigned to Parallels. What should the Video RAM be set to? Currently it's at 64 MB. Should that be adjusted? Any help much appreciated. Also, if someone could remind me of the keyboard shortcuts to switch back to Mac once I'm in full-screen that would be appreciated. Thanks so much!
One of the reasons I installed parallels is because of Incredimail (Premium): there is no great, fun and incredibly advanced emailprogramme like that around (applemail could learn alot from it, but thats MHO). And I really would love to use it as my default emailprogramme. I have not installed it yet though, cause I first want to know if it will launch and work. Incredimail goes deep in the windowssystem and is difficult to uninstall. Please can someone tell if it will run properly? -I hope there are more IM-users here. Thanks alot, regards
You guys should forward this question to Parallels Support Team. I think they can test this application and provide some bug-fix for Coherence mode which I'm love very much by the way! This issue might be resoved by developers only I think. For now try to play with coherence mode in configuration editor... Coherence in 5160 build with MacOS skin! ah
