I'm very new to computer gaming (not counting my late 90's days of Freddie Fish and Age of Empires) and considering purchasing the Parallels Desktop for Mac for my M1 MacBook Air. The only games I've played on Mac thus far have been Morrowind (OpenMW) and Oblivion (Porting Kit). I was able to figure out modding for OpenMW but no such luck with Oblivion as I believe Porting Kit is still being worked on. I don't know much about Parallels but would using it make it easier for me to play and mod PC games? Any body have experience with it for M1 Macs?

Hello Maria, I've bought Parallels 17 after reading the blog article you posted to play Age of Empires II definitive edition, but I'm facing problems I don't know how to fix. I'm very new in playing games on Mac and I bought my M1 just few months ago, so I'm probably missing some points... As far as I've understood, my Mac meets the minimum requirements to play and I've done everything as the article states, but when I try to install the game an error always occurs. I'll upload the configuration details of the setup I've used, could you please help me? I've already tried to disinstall&reinstall Paralles, Paralles toolbox and game service pack: nothing has changed. Thank you very much
