Hi, i am a verified purchaser of parallels desktop. I want to code in mac, and have the files on my windows VM. However due to file transfer/slowness of the windows VM, my IDE can't work with it. (Jetbrains IDE). I am using MBP 2019 16inch 32GB mem with i9 8 core. I am using parallels 17. Here is screenshot of harddisk test with WindowsVM drive as target. (as you can see its super slow). How do i increase the write/read speed at least to tolerable level?

Hi Maria, Thanks for the reply, I managed to create workaround for jetbrains IDE for my usage. However i just upgrade my subscription to pro and increase my vm to 16gb mem and 6 core (from 8gb & 4 core). I notice huge significant performance when developing using Visual studio almost like native machine. previously it was barely usable (everything is laggy, even typing most of the time has delay, etc) even though it never use the whole mem. Was it because the vm performance indeed slower on normal version? If i knew the performance bump was this significant i would have bought the pro years ago Anyways im quite happy now. thanks
