When you install Parallels and use Boot Camp, a shared folder is created that shows up in Network Neighborhood. When you uninstall Parallels (or VMware Fusion for that matter) the shared folder is still there. How can you delete it? Thanks P.S. I have been using Parallels for quite a while and recently did the trial of VMWare Fusion. Am switching back to Parallels since I already own a license and I did not find VMWare Fusion to be any better than Parallels 3.0.
Reparing Windows Installation did not worl I tried repairing the Windows installation with the original XP disk. The shared folder is still there. It shows in the Network Neighborhood folder. I have a Parallels Shared folder and a VMware shared folder. I would like to get rid of the VMware shared folder as I will not be using that program. Any other advice?
Hello, did you try to delete this folder? Right-click on it and choose 'Delete'? Post by bick4d was moved here. Best regards, Stacey
