I'm on a M1 Mac with macOS 12.0.1. I use Windows once a year at tax time. Thus, I got Parallels 16 a year ago and put the Insider Program release on it and did my taxes. There isn't that much on the virtual machine so this isn't super important but I'm confused what is wrong.
This year, I go and buy the new Parallels 17 and it installs happily. I get a message from Windows that I need to update. Fine. But every time I try, I get this message:
We couldn't install updates because there's a problem with the date and time information on your device. Make sure your date, time, and time zone settings are correct and we'll try again later.
I've tried everything I can think of including rebooting the whole Mac. The date / time appear to be fine.
Anyone have a clue how to solve this?
