    Hello,
I've struggled for days trying to figure out a way to completely hide the icon Parallels Desktop from the dock and cmd+tab on Mac OS Big Sur. I know how to hide the VM Windows 10 icon from preferences, but this is the Parallels Desktop icon.

In Terminal, I added the following line to try and get the app to run in "agent mode" by editing the info.plist file located in Show Package Content/Contents, where it's running hidden and completely in the background:

    /usr/libexec/PlistBuddy -c "Add :LSUIElement bool true" "/Applications/Parallels Desktop.app/Contents/Info.plist"

It just doesn't work, the icon stays visible in the dock and cmd+tab. I also tried following this tip and instead use LSBackgroundOnly, but can't get it to work.

I'm desperate to fix this. I hope someone has a solution. Thanks.

I've also not found a way of hiding it. Ridiculous that they don't have this basic feature.
