I have uninstalled Parallels Access and would like to remove these audio devices that remained after the uninstall. I cannot figure out a way to do so.

I had the same problem, solution is under finder > Go > Go To Folder (Shift + Command + G) is the keyboard shortcut

    type /Library/Audio and click Go
If you then browse to Plug-Ins > HAL
You will see the offending folder, delete it and reboot.
Both should now be gone, they are for me.
I hope you see this and it helps rid you of the peskyness too.

What is the name of the offending folder? I can't delete a single folder in HAL. This is the worst issue. M1 Macbook randomly switches to Parallels Access Sound and then I can't manually override it.

Thank you so much for this. It had been a very annoying headache for a long time after removing parallels from my Mac. Sorted now. For the person who asked what the offending folder was, for me it was called: "com.parallels.mobile.audio.driver". Not sure if this is the same for you or for everyone but that was what mine was called.

Cool, deleting the final folder in the libraries HAL subfolder works. Thank you very much.

I do not have a HAL folder. Is there another path for the folder? Screenshot 2023-04-25 at 16.27.48.png Screenshot 2023-04-25 at 16.28.02.png

remove the ~ before library. You should find HAL after doing that :)
    /Library/Audio

Thanks a lot TheCatNip - but why are these things so well hidden, even when using things like AppTrap?
