Parallels get stuck flashing black and blue screens of death on launch of Windows 10

Hi, Parallels has previously worked on my Mac, but now when I try to run my Windows 10 Virtual machine it just gets stuck flashing a full blue screen that takes up my entire desktop then disappears, interrupted occasionally by a full black screen instead. Fortunately this doesn't cover the top tool bar or the launchpad so I can still navigate. At first when I would order the VM to shut down it would first warn me that Windows 10 was installing updates, but I think I've let it run long enough that its finished whatever it was doing there. Sadly, the flashing blue screens continue and I'm not sure how to fix it so that I can actually use Windows. How do I fix this?

Computer: Retina 5K 27-inch 2017 iMac
OS: Montery 12.5
Parallels Version: 17.1.4 Standard Edition
Virtual Machine: Windows 10
