I have 2021 MacBookPro M1 Max and Windows 11 arm64 downloaded through Parallels 17 and which get regular monthly Arm64 updated. I have not read the Parallels 18 documentation yet to see if it viable, necessary or essential to upgrade to 18 and maintain or improve my Windows 11 experience. Also the ongoing question mark over the lifetime of the Arm64 version and the relationship of Microsoft and Apple with Arm. Any initial thoughts and more considered thoughts most welcome Douglas
I have the exact same MacBook Pro as you and I mainly used Parallels Desktop for gaming. I found the Nintendo Switch Pro controller works again via bluetooth which is a great thing. However, I found a noticeable increase in micro-shuttering while playing Diablo Immortal after upgrading to Parallels Desktop 18. On 17 it was marginally acceptable for me, now it's a deal-breaker and I have to play the game on my iPhone.
