    Hi
Im running Parallels 17 on an M1 Pro chip.
At the end of my last Windows 11 session I manually clicked Shut Down in Windows, then shortly afterwards shut down my Mac. When I rebooted my Mac next day, launched Paralells, started Windows 11 , Windows showed the Shutting Down screen with the spinning graphic and has been stuck there. Ive tried closing and relaunching parallels and also rebooting my mac to no avail.
Any advice on solving this ?
    Cheers

Parallels Support gave me these instructions , which solved the issue.

Please follow the below steps to STOP your virtual machine.
First, open your Windows 11 virtual machine. After opening the virtual machine, you will see the "Actions" option appear on the Mac menu bar where the Apple icon appears on the Mac side. Now click Action > Click STOP > Do not click Shut Down, as Shut Down is different from Stop. Now check if everything is working fine by opening the virtual machine again. Thanks.
Please follow the below link to know more about STOP.
