I'm using Parallels 18.0.2 on MacOS 12.6. Trying to install Ubuntu 22.10 as a guest OS. It boots up and allows me to fill out all the forms right before the install starts and then ... it just crashes. Every time. I believe it has something to do with the slideshow trying to use the ubiquity apt package to render some graphics. Any ideas on how to solve this issue?
I also have this issue on a fresh installation. Upgrading to 22.10 from 22.04LTS also seems to break things
I have the exact same problem. Trying to install Ubuntu 22.04.2 or 22.10 in Parallels 17.1.6 running on macOS 11.7.3 on a MacBook Air (Intel 2020) crashes: ubiquity crashed with SIGKILL in pas_segregated_page_construct()
This fixed the issue for me... https://askubuntu.com/questions/145...overable-system-error-when-installing-in-para But with 22.04.02 , Parallels Tool won't install
Author of both the question and the answer on askubuntu here: I had the same experience: Parallels Tools won't install with 22.04.02
