3ds max on M1 Pro?

Hi, what are your experiences with using 3ds max (which version?) with Parallels (which version?) on M1 Pro (10 CPU cores, 16 GPU cores), 16GB (Macbook Pro)? How smooth is modeling, rendering, and animation?

I tried searching this forum for "3ds max" but the error message was "The search could not be completed because the search keywords were too short, too long, or too common." which is "funny".

 

Hiya - I've got 3DS Max 2023 running with the latest version of Parallels on a MBP (M1 Max, although 64GB) - it works pretty well in the viewport, but rendering speeds are still massively throttled vs the macOS CPU speed (and also when compared to Parallels running on an Intel Mac).
