For some time now, I am running into very low internet connection speeds. Have already tried re-install, switching shared/bridged/default, driver replacement/update and provisioning. Compared wired and wireless connection through different combinations. Checked firewall on macOS, compared host and vm speeds. Can't seem to fix it. Network connection is 1gb, vm internet speed max 2mb. Details: MacBook Pro 16" M1 Max macOS Ventura v13.5 Parallels Pro v18.3.2 Windows 11 Pro 21H2 v22000.2245
Hello, for us to further investigate this issue, kindly collect a technical report (right-click Parallels icon in Dock > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and provide us with the report's 9-digit ID in reply to this post. Thanks
Hello, As a possible solution, to allocate all resources to your Virtual machine, kindly follow the below steps: 1. Make sure that the Virtual Machine is Shutdown (Actions on top of the mac menu bar > select Shutdown). 2. Open the virtual machine configuration ( see: https://kb.parallels.com/117287 ) > Options > Optimization. 3. Set "Resource usage" to "No Limit". 4. Verify if the issue still persists. If issue does persist, collect an additional technical report (right-click Parallels icon in Dock > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and provide us with the report's 9-digit ID in reply to this post. Thank you.
That does seem to do the trick. Thanks. There's one concern though: with resource-intensive tasks might this not influence the overall performance? Isn't there a separate setting to allow max. connection without full resource usage?
Well. Turns out it's not doing the trick. Restarted and updated, and reverted back to the slow connection. Will repost a new tech report ID later.
