I've been using Parallels pro for almost a year now, and among all virtualization solutions, it's probably the gold standard. But what I absolutely can't understand is why Parallels has such horrendous audio performance. I'm running the ARM version of Windows 11 on the latest Parallels 20. After just 10-15 minutes of using Windows 11, audio playback starts stuttering and breaking up. It makes using Windows 11 as a full-fledged system practically impossible -- I can't listen to music, watch movies, or join audio conferences because the sound starts to lag as if I'm on a Pentium I. And yet I have two powerful machines -- one with an M4 Pro and another with an M3 Pro -- and the problem occurs identically on both.

I've tried disabling the hypervisor, adjusting allocated RAM and CPU cores, increasing Parallels' priority -- but none of that makes a meaningful difference. Is no one else experiencing this? I've seen forum posts dating back to 2021 mentioning the same issue. Has anyone found a fix? I've tried using Foobar and MusicBee - in every case, the audio starts stuttering after a short time. Meanwhile, audio playback on native macOS is flawless. But in that case, why even use Parallels?

I canceled my subscription due to this and other lingering issues that Parallels has failed to resolve. As you've said, it's been years, and they haven't corrected this. There is also an issue with time going out of sync on Linux, and it's been broken for years.
