I am a perpetual license user of Parallels Desktop. I activated it successfully on my previous iMac (2017).Recently, I upgraded to a new Mac mini with M4 chip and used Apple's Migration Assistant to transfer everything. I also signed out and deactivated the license on the old machine.
However, on the new Mac, I got the following error when trying to activate:
"This license key is not accepted by the license server."
I have no idea what this message means or why the activation failed. I followed all proper steps and this is a legally purchased perpetual license.
What's worse, it seems there's no official support channel available for perpetual users anymore. This is incredibly frustrating. I simply changed my hardware - why am I being blocked from using a product I paid for?
Please help me resolve this. If this license is now unusable, that would be very unfair to loyal users.
