something went wrong during my payment through paypal and the website timed out i did the order again from scratch and payment was successful. but now i have 2 order emails. one order that was sucessful with activation keys etc and the other, with a different order number, that is telling me to pay i want to cancel the latter because obviously it was a mistake due to technical problems. i see no way to cancel it on the website. is there any contact details for this company?
i got an email asking what i was trying to buy it was parallels desktop for mac the most basic/cheap version. 1 year subscription.
Sounds like the website glitch made a duplicate order. Since only the one with activation keys is valid, the extra one should be canceled, best bet is to contact their support team directly since there's no cancel option on the site.
I ran into a similar issue before. If you've got two separate order numbers but only one payment actually went through, the second one (the one asking you to pay) is basically just an unpaid order sitting in their system. It won't be processed unless payment is made, so you don't need to worry about being charged twice. That said, if you want to make sure it's cancelled/cleared, the best option is to reach out directly to Parallels Support. They'll confirm the valid order and close the duplicate. In my case, they responded within a day.
