Hello, I receive a new laptop macbookpro M4 in 2 weeks to replace my old macbookpro intel late 2019. I'm in order of license and I want to "transfert" or recovery from the old to the new. Is there a possibility to recovery that one?
Hello, Thank you for your post. It is possible to transfer your existing licence and use it on a new Mac. You can find more information in this article: https://kb.parallels.com/en/123461 Please note that when moving from an Intel Mac to an M series Mac, the files from the Intel can be moved to the new M series, but the virtual machines created on an Intel Mac will not work on an M series Mac due to architecture difference hence new virtual machines will need to be created on the M series Mac. You also need to check if you have a Parallels Desktop Permanent licence for a specific version as per this article: https://kb.parallels.com/114381 but if you have a subscription, it should be able to activate as the Subscription licenses can be used to activate different versions of Parallels Desktop.
