    Hi,

Since updating to Parallels Desktop 26.1.0 (57287) on macOS 26 (Tahoe), I've noticed that Linux VMs don't shut down immediately.

    Tested with:
    • Ubuntu 25.04 (stable)
    • Ubuntu 25.10 (beta)
    • Fedora 43 (beta)
In all cases, Linux finishes shutdown right away (poweroff.target reached), but Parallels keeps the VM window open for another 10-30 seconds before it actually closes.

Windows 11 ARM VMs are not affected. After a Mac reboot, the first shutdown is usually fast, but then the delay comes back.

Could this be related to the new driverless Parallels Tools or Apple's Virtualization.framework in macOS 26?

    Question:
Is anyone else seeing this issue?

    Ubuntu 25.04 + 25.10 beta on Parallels Desktop 26.1.1 (57288).
Shutdown delay issue from 26.1.0 seems resolved -- VMs now power off immediately.
