Upgraded to PD 26 - Unable to verify the license signature

    I have a PD for Mac Pro Subscription. I downloaded PD 26 and installed it. When I tried to activate, I get an error "Unable to verify the license signature". I have tried using "sudo chflags 0 /Library/Preferences/Parallels/licenses.json" in Terminal but it did not work.

    Please note that this is a known issue and we are currently investigating.
    As a temporary workaround for now, please uninstall Parallels Desktop 26 (open Finder > click on Applications > right click Parallels Desktop and move to bin). Then download and install Parallels Desktop 20.4.1 from:
    https://download.parallels.com/desktop/v20/20.4.1-55996/ParallelsDesktop-20.4.1-55996.dmg

    Issue now appears to be resolved. I was able to successfully activate 26.

    I AM HAVING THE SAME ISSUE AFTER TRYING TO INSTALL THE LATEST PARALLELS UPDATE. DURING THE PROCESS IT TOLD ME TO ACTIVATE MY LICENSE. I CLICKED ACTIVATE AND I GET THIS UNABLE TO VERIFY MESSAGE DISCUSSED IN THIS FORUM. I EVEN MANUALLY ENTEWRED MY PRODUCT KEY AND GOT THE SAME MESSAGE. VERY FRUSTRATING - LOCKED OUT NOW.

    I SHOULD ADD, I HAVE THE PARALLELS DESKTOP FOR MAC PRO SUBSCRIPTION.

    Same here - no activation under 26.1.0 - amazing how they break things regularly with no consequences.

    Same problem here: just updated from 26.0.1 PRO to 26.1.0 and can lo longer open it due to a license verification issue. Hope this gets fixed ASAP.

    Same with me. I opened support ticket 4 hours ago, and still no answer. Very frustrating when someone use VM in production environment.

    Having the same issue, Upgraded to the latest version today, now it won't activate and I can;t get any work done! Please fix this ASAP!

    Hello,
    Please note that this is a known issue and it is currently being investigated by our Development team.
    As a workaround, we would recommend to downgrade to Parallels Desktop 26.0.1 using this link.
    Note: When prompted to update to the latest version, kindly do not update to latest build and use current version.

    24 hours later, this is still a problem. v26.1.0. After about 30 tries with the Activation Key out of online account. I still keep getting "Unable to verify the license signature."
