    Parallels Desktop 26 for Mac Pro Edition version 26.1.1 (57288)
    Ubuntu Linux 25.04 (apt update && apt upgrade complete)
    Parallels Desktop Preferences -> Shortcuts has the Ubuntu VM set to Profile: Linux

    CTRL key on my MacBookPro M3 Max isn't recognized.
    Looking to get Command key to act at Meta (for Emacs), as well.
    In gnome-terminal, pressing CTRL-C produces a simple 'c'
    Starting Emacs,
    pressing Command + x --> s-x is undefined.
    Pressing control + x --> s-x is undefined.
    Pressing Caps Lock + x --> s-x is undefined.

    How do I get Ubuntu to see my control key as control (not Super)?

    I'd like both command keys to act as meta and my option keys as alt.
    Tried sudo dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration and selected:
    Apple, English (US), Keyboard layout: English (US) - English (Macintosh) , default for AltGR, No compose key

    Pretty sure this is an Ubuntu issue, but Ubuntu forums point to Parallels.
    Anybody with a working keyboard running Ubuntu 25.04??
