Hello, I have not used my Parallels Desktop for Mac subscription in over a year. Last year (2024) I went back and forth trying to cancel my auto-renewal. They wouldn't give me a refund last year but I know I at least canceled my subscription so I wouldn't be charged again this year (2025). Well, fast forward to this year and my account has just been charged $54.61 again. I have been unable to get ahold of anyone through the support tickets on the Parallels website nor have I been able to find any kind of customer support number to call. I just want to cancel my Parallels subscription once and for all and get a refund without having to get a whole new debit card like my bank is suggesting. I never even got an email warning or anything that my subscription was about to renew AGAIN when I had cancelled it last year and this was a whole ordeal last year.

Same thing happened to me. I was unable to get any sort of refund. In my emails to them I asked that they please be sure to cancel my subscription again and all I got back in response was automated messages saying my support request could not be delivered because my ticket number wasn't in the subject line (it was, I checked and sent another email being sure the ticket number was in the subject line and got the same automated response again). After signing into the parallels website, I saw by subscription was still active. I canceled it online and am hoping it stays that way.

Dispute that the transaction was authorised with your card issuer. That will get their attention. Card issuers typically don't even question amounts under $50. For amounts over their threshold they will contract the vendor and demand proof of the transaction's authorisation. Send your own evidence of cancellation with your dispute claim. Cut off the money and you will get immediate action. If enough people did it this kind of behaviour would stop.
