Freezing issue when running macOS VM on Parallels

@GusH2 Thanks for this suggestion! I've been bumping into this issue a lot. I dug out a USB mouse with scroll wheel and I can confirm that I no longer experience the freezing issue when two finger scrolling using the Mac trackpad.

Now what I am now wondering is will I get the same result by using a mouse jiggler dongle? (I don't want an external mouse plugged in all the time) I try it over the weekend and then report back.

 

After a while (when I have not used my mouse but it still remains plugged in) it seems to come back. I am am hoping to see the outcome of the jiggler test as I have a feeling it will be the right solution (actually work around).

 

I purchased a mouse jiggler and it does indeed solve the problem. However, some weirdness in the jiggler causes other problems when passed through to the macOS VM so it's pretty unstable. I'm probably going to try a different brand of mouse jiggler to see if that works better.
