I have the same problem. In my case, sometimes it is just gray border, sometimes it is part of another app window (with text etc.) - see attached file. Anyone has any suggestions?

I reached out to customer support -- they told me the issue is in the code and that they're going to check it further with the development team.

It's usually just a Coherence glitch; try toggling Coherence on/off or reinstalling Parallels Tools.
A quick VM reboot after switching graphics to "Best for Retina" often fixes that gray border, too.

Hi, I'm seeing the same faint gray border around the Start menu in Coherence mode (macOS 26.1, Parallels Pro 26.1.1). It seems to be a known rendering bug. Reinstalling Parallels Tools or restarting hasn't helped. Hopefully, it gets fixed in a future update.
