Hello! We are a software developer for structural engineers. Some of our users use Parallels Desktop to run our software on Macs. This has worked very well so far. Unfortunately, since the update to version 26.3.0, we have been experiencing issues. We use an OpenGL window (OpenGL 4.1) in our software. In version 26.3.0, the window remains blank. I am using version Parallels Desktop 26.2.2 on my MacBook Pro M2. In this version, the OpenGL window works without any problems. Are these issues known? Best regards, Frank (Dlubal Software GmbH)
Hello @FrankF29 We have created a support ticket to assist you further. Kindly check your email for future communication. Regards,
I work with Dialux Evo version 5.13.2.5 on a Mac Studio M2 Max and I have the same trouble since the update to Parallels version 26.3.0. I work with the same App on a MacBook Pro M1 Pro with Parallels version 26.2.2 and it works perfectly
Having the same issue, I am a periodontist (dentist) and up to 26.2.2 no problems, but 26.3.1 broke Blue Sky Plan that we use to plan guided surgeries but after deleting the WDDM Parallels Display Driver in device manager, I was able to run the software. Now it updated to 26.4 and nothing I do works, all black screens with no rendering in OpenGL inside the views no matter what I try. Anybody have a work around because this is for actual guided surgery planing on live patients.
The issue has been resolved in the current version, 26.3.2. Our software is now running smoothly again as usual on Parallels Desktop. Many thanks to the developers and the support team. Best regards, Frank (Dlubal Software GmbH)
