Hello, I urgently need help from a Parallels engineer. My Windows 11 virtual machine was working perfectly on July 31, 2026. The next day it suddenly stopped working. Environment: • macOS 26.5.2 • Parallels Desktop 26.4.0 (57513) • Apple Silicon Mac The .pvm package is still visible in iCloud Drive and still shows a size of 47.4 GB. However, Parallels now reports: - PRL_ERR_DISK_XML_MISSING - DiskDescriptor.xml missing - Failed to open disk image The virtual hard disk (harddisk.hdd) now appears empty and cannot be opened. This virtual machine contains several years of professional work, including: - Quadra accounting software - Microsoft Money banking data - Professional documents Yesterday everything was working correctly. Today it is impossible to boot the VM. Could someone from the Parallels engineering team please advise me before I perform any action that could permanently damage the virtual machine? I can provide: - Parallels logs - Terminal output - Screenshots - Any additional information required. Thank you very much. Jean Auguste Marsili France Email: TON_ADRESSE_EMAIL
