I've been using my version 3.0 for several months now with no trouble. Yesterday my quickbooks file became corrupted and I had to restore a back up file. It worked fine and I backed up again to my virtual desktop. I then went and bought a portable drive to back up to and tried to reopen my virtual PC with no luck. parallels opens into the configuration window with the "suspended" button alight. When I try to start windows nothing happens. If I reconfigure I can get to where I can choose "safe mode" or "start normally" but neither one will open windows, just a black screen. If I go back to the configuration window the "running" button is on but I still have no windows.

    What's up??????????????????

    Hello,

please try to do the following:
    1. In the Finder, browse to the virtual machine folder (the default path is: Documents-Parallels-Virtual Machine).
    2. Find and delete the ".sav" and ".mem" files in the virtual machine folder.

    Will it help?

    Best regards,
    Stacey
