I just switched from an Old PC to a new MiniMac.

I pulled the 40GB drive from the old machine, and put it in a USB2.0 drive case.

I want to get Parralels Desktop to work off that drive when I need PC Access, instead of creating a virtual drive.

I realize I'll need to update several drivers... Etc. But the old system is set up just the way I want it.

    Is this possible?

    Hello,

external drive, connected via USB to Parallels, should be seen by Parallels and you can use it well.

If you can't manage to connect the device to the VM, you can set it up like a shared folder. Thus, it will be available for the VM. For more information about setting up a shared folder, please, see page 207 of the User Guide.
