I just upgraded my guest OS from WinXP to WinXP Professional, SP2. Now the dozens and dozens of updates that usually follow such an upgrade action did indeed happen - in my case 87 upgrade files. However, now the files will not install when I power down the guest OS. The next time I launch the guest OS the same thing happens all over again - 87 files download and they won't install at power down. It seems as if Parallels is closing the VM before the installation of the updates has had a chance to start. Does anyone out there have any idea how to fix the problem? Thanks ... Mike
Hello, please, check your VM settings: Configuration Editor->Options->Advanced tab Is the "Undo disks" option enabled?
The "Undo disks" option is not enabled. Should it be? From what I read in the user manual it doesn't appear that this option should be enabled. Mike
