I want to run World of Warcraft (WoW) in the Windows Vista environment. I have loaded Parallels on my new iMac, and have a fresh install of WoW. Whenever I attempt to run the game I get an Error 132 message stating:

The instruction at "0x761FB973" referenced memory at "0x0D761A80"
The memory could not be "read".

Anyone about to offer advice on how I can run WoW on Vista in Parallels without getting this memory error?

Dumb question - but why don't you run the OS X version of WoW natively? I only ask as I know a few folk who hammer their Apple kit with this software on a very regular basis.

    Running WoW in Mac

I need to be able to run WoW in Parallels with the Vista OS because I want to run several sessions at the same time, and the MAC OS lets you only run 1 unless you have several installations of the WoW application. This has also become a personal mission to make this work :)

Anyone out there have a solution to my memory error?

You don't need to create separate installations of WoW. All you do is duplicate the World of Warcraft.app. Nice and simple.
