    I just installed an extra 1GB in my MacBook to bring it to 2GB. Previously, I was giving the VM 512K and noticed that I was runing low. However, when I tried to edit the amount of memory given to the VM, Parallels says that the max is 616MB. Is there any way to give it more memory?

    Bit strange, when I edit the VM and give ab X amount of memory, VM tells me recommended memory size is 64Mb for best performance (iMac 2Ghz)

    Just a quick Thanks to the Parallels team, I just saw I was marked as 'Junior Member'... and that at my age... ;-)

    Memory Adjustment

    Hi,

    Look in Preferences -> Memory

    There is a slider to adjust the RAM..

    Have fun,

    Nelson.

    Thanks Nelson, I found that too. It turns out there are two memory settings -- the one under parallels desktop sets memory for all VMs, and then the VM settings are based on that. Thanks!
