10.4.11 Archive & Install now DT4.0 fails

This morning I used my 10.4.9 disks to run an OS Archive and Re-Install. Everything but Parallels came through A-OK and it looks like I have some great performance gains. My only complaint is that my newish Parallels Desktop will not launch. Nor will any of the aliases or even the .pvm files. The Parallels icon remains in my dock - when I click, it bounces once or twice, I see a very quick screen flash and then nothing. I can't even find it on Activity Monitor.
