Hi there, I'm currently using 2X with AppSense Environment Manager, and had a bit of trouble getting both to work together. While AppSense EM would apply personalization and policy to both RDP and RemoteApp, it didn't work with 2X for the first application launched. I further investigated the problem, and the root cause seems to be memshell launching too early for Environment Manager to catch up. Memshell.exe starts, EMLogon daemon figures that out and starts EMuser.exe (the program responsible for applying policy and persolnalization), but when EMuser.exe starts it's already too late to catch the first application launch. I got around the problem by creating a dummy memshell.exe (the one on System32) that starts the real memshell.exe 1 second after it is launched. Not sure if anyone has a better fix that is willing to share. As AppSense EM is one of the major UEM players in the market, it would benefit that a permanent fix would get into the product. Regards.
