Hello everyone, I've been trying to contact support and sales for a while with this question, but haven't been able to; hopefully it's ok to ask it here. We're trying to set up a terminal server in a datacenter that will provide desktops to users in different locations, with WAN links ranging from fibre to 'decent' SDSL (20mbit or so). On these desktops the users must be able to play flash movies and games, and other multimedia, with good SD quality (HD is nice but a necessity). To achieve this we are looking at different solutions, including 2X. We're wondering if 2X improves multimedia experience or bandwith efficiency at all, beyond wat an RDS (with remoteFX) server would on its own? Thanks in advance!
2X supports remote FX. To get the most of it, you can try setting up an environment using server 2012 since the new version of remote FX brought along a lot of improvements.
