    Hi all,

Please guide me, since I've just starting to use this application.

Environment : users will access applications on 2 servers configured as load-balanced application servers (without gateway)

    Questions i need to ask:

    1.
Mentioned that ASSENTPRN license is for 2 servers ,load balancer, & universal printing, how many load balancer license that're included ? Can I have both servers configured for load balancing?

    2.
    I'm thinking of this scenario:
ServerA set as Master and ServerB as Backup configured to be load-balanced, when ServerA is down will serverB take over automatically ? If then ServerA is up again, will serverA immediately became the primary again? (basically is it fail-over automatically)

    3.
Our client is planning to do capacity upgrade of their ASSMBPRNtoASSENTPRN, does upgrade insurance included? Or do they need to buy upgrade insurance license also?

    4.
Out client asked Windows' NLB also being configured inside both servers. Will it interfere load-balancing functions?

    5.
On one the server they have installed ASSMBPRN v 6.1 and currently serving users, will upgrade be smooth ? is there any documentation on upgrade / backup-restore ?

Many thanks in advance for your guidance ooh wise one.. 8)

    HI

1)with ASSENTPRN you can load balance 2 Ts servers configured for Loadbalancing,Make Sure You adress Your Ts server By IP instead of hostname.

    2) Fail over works automatically if you're using 2x client.

3)Kindly Contact 2x Sales team on sales@2x.com for further information.

    4) Nlb Is not Supported,Kindly turn off your NLB Completly.

Back up your settings profile from AS go to file via File--> Export Settings. Store your settings file
    in a safe place.

You may restore your system simply by disconnecting all users ( make sure no users are logged in )
uninstall 2x AS and reboot ( make sure all connections severed ).

install a 2x console ( we suggest the latest available at http://downloads.2x.com/#appserver ) your settings should be restored.
If settings not restored. use File --> Import Settings. and load your settings file.
